New Mexico Service Provider Statistics

The Rape Crisis Center of Central New Mexico provides services to survivors in New Mexico as well as a number of other organizations. Below are statistics which outline those who reported to sexual violence service providers in New Mexico.


 Total Number of New Mexico Law Enforcement-Reported Survivors of Sexual Violence 4,135
           Total Number of NM Law Enforcement-Reported Survivors of Rape/Penetrative Sexual Violence  1,480
           Total Number of NM Law Enforcement-Reported Survivors of Non-Penetrative Sexual Violence  2,655
 Total Number of New Mexico Service Provider-Reported Survivors of Sexual Violence  1,654
 Total Number of New Mexico SANE-Reported Survivors of Sexual Violence  1,023


In 2014, it was reported that 4,135 survivors reported to law enforcement, 1,654 survivors sought services from various non-profit providers, and 1,023 survivors received SANE services.1
