The Rape Crisis Center of Central New Mexico (RCCCNM) provides emotional support and advocacy to survivors of sexual assault and abuse throughout Central New Mexico, and serves as a community resource on issues regarding prevention and awareness of sexual assault and abuse.

Programs & Services

We serve the community with a wide range of programs and services:

intervention icon newCrisis Intervention Services

Crisis Intervention Services provides 24-hour support, advocacy, crisis intervention, resources, referrals to anyone affected by sexual violence. Crisis Services responds to approximately 2000 calls to the hotline per year and 600 forensic exams per year.


counseling iconCounseling Services

Counseling is provided free of charge to anyone affected by sexual violence. Counselors are all specifically trained in the field of sexual assault and trauma. We serve 13 and up. 

community IconCommunity Education and Outreach

Community Education & Outreach provides age-appropriate, theory based curriculums to educational institutions and one-time or ongoing presentations for professionals. Staff engage with an average of 5,000 community members every year in conversations related to services and programs, sexual violence, consent, healthy relationships and so much more. Sexual Violence preventionists conduct workshops and presentations for a variety of different community populations including, but not limited to, youth and students, clinical and behavioral staff, law enforcement, military personnel, preschool staff, university and college students, church groups, and hospitality service providers.
